Pink!
I don't like any shade of pink then - maybe because i don't want to be considered in affinity with the so-called color for my sex. But i don't care anymore. I no longer want to discriminate colors because of their hues. And a hot pink, definitely, is the best color for a rain coat.Mind you, pink is not just for the legally blondes. It's now a political color, too. I recently read about Code Pink on a back issue of Utne magazine. Code Pink is about the old clamors for social justice and peace being delivered in a seemingly fresh, different way. The name was reportedly borrowed from the code nurses use in hospitals to alert staff that a baby has been abducted.
Code Pink is about making resistance more visible and at the same time, it is also a "call for a playfulness, spontaneity, and a sense of respect for what we seek to change". My blog wears the code pink button.
